SOUTHWEST TRAINING INSTITUTE--SINCE 1988
Online Courseware
Contact Mary Jo Huard at U.S. Toll-Free 1-888-978-6632
Our Online Courseware is the best way to
provide targeted, just-in-time distributed learning, pre-workshop preparation,
and continuous follow-on reinforcement learning. When online is used as
pre-work, classroom delivery time can be reduced by half. TUITION includes a
365-day course subscription; the student can access the online course
throughout the subscription period.
Each course has been designed for optimum adult learning and
offers something for everyone---the audio-based learner, the visual learner,
and the kinesthetic learner. Our courseware has better than a 90%
completion rate which speaks about quality, learner engagement, and realized
ROI.
Most of our Online Courses have correlating
Turn-Key Instructor Kits for a true “blended learning” online-classroom
capability. With the addition of a personalized Virtual Online Campus
(optional), you can provide the essential interactivity that makes online
learning meaningful and effective. To experience our Virtual Online Campus,
visit us at www.swtinstitute.com
and click on Online Campus. Use “southwest” as the User ID and “demo” as the
Password. Call and request a Guided Tour. We have SPECIAL PRICING for
Government, Education, and Non-Profit organizations. Pay-as-you-go, bulk or bundle
pricing is available. We also provide Limited and UNlimited Licensing
options.
SOMETHING TECHNICAL: Bandwidth is the
information-carrying capacity of a communication channel. Our
online courseware is based on standard web technologies, low bandwidth
architecture, enabling the learner to access the material and version that they
need anytime or anywhere.
Our content pages average 4k bytes when transferred. On
some of our pages, we have streaming flash videos. Our video is bandwidth
scaleable by the learner. If they have high-speed network connections, they can
experience the Broadband version of the full motion video. Those with moderate
speed can experience the dial-up version of the video. Both options are
available for learners to choose within the course.
For organizations that require even lower bandwidth
connections, we offer another version of our courseware that uses a slideshow
of still images captured from the video with synchronized audio.
